Share Your Story

They survived to tell their story; now it’s your turn. We empower descendants of Holocaust survivors to learn & share their family’s experience with purpose to humanize history, inspire critical thinking, and counter antisemitism.

Our Speakers Humanize History and Counter Jewish Hate

Central to the mission of Living Links, we empower descendants to share their powerful legacy and humanize history in a way that can introduce Jewish peoplehood, inspire critical thinking, and counter antisemitism.

Our Program Builds Community and Activates Leadership

As you are guided through learning your family’s story, you will meet others with a shared identity and connect with how the Holocaust shaped your life, values, and perspective. You will find yourself in a supportive, understanding environment that leads to lasting connections and meaningful impact.

What to Expect

The course consists of four, 2-hour virtual sessions.

  • Week 1: Meet fellow descendants and discuss desired outcomes.

  • Week 2: Share your story outline and receive peer & facilitator feedback.

  • Week 3: Present a powerful vignette from your presentation and receive feedback.

  • Week 4: Present your full presentation, receive feedback, and explore next steps on your speaker journey.

I absolutely loved this course. I was anxious going in, but was highly engaged from the first session. I held onto every sentence given by the facilitators who had such wisdom! It made me hungry to learn more and very motivated to keep working on my grandmother's story.
Thank you SO much - what a valuable experience!
